今天要介紹「冬至」跟「湯圓」的英文~~ 冬至：winter solstice winter我小學就知道了！那solstice是啥？？ solstice在Cambridge字典的定義：either of the two occasions in the year when the sun is directly above either the furthest point north or the furthest point south of the equator that it ever reaches. These are the times in the year, in the middle of the summer or winter, when there are the longest hours of day or night 且讓筆者偷懶偷懶，直接解釋一下就好，有興趣的朋友可以嘗試翻譯看看。 所謂solstice，即太陽跑到最北邊（北迴歸線）或最南邊（南迴歸線）的時間點，那會是在冬或夏季的一半，那時候的白晝或夜晚時間最長 所以相對的，聰明的大家一定已經知道夏至就是summer solstice了 小小附帶一提：春或秋分是spring/autumn equinox，有興趣的朋友可以自行上 Cambridge線上字典 查查英解。 工商服務時間： WORD UP 的教材商城  可以買到很多可靠的教材內容（專業出版社授權）、而且可以直接在 APP 背單字做題目喔～ 那麼…湯圓怎麼講？ 答案是「dumpling」（可以指餃子或湯圓；在非正式上也用來指長得胖胖圓圓的人）筆者相信一定還有其他的說法，就留給大家去發掘囉！ 而這則是筆者找到「湯圓」的英解：stuffed dumplings made of glutinous rice flour served in soup
